Reading is required in every day in life. Whether it is reading a street sign, reading the news, or reading a menu, comprehension is the fundamental reason for reading. Reading for comprehension is an essential common core skill that can and must be taught to students.

The purpose of this step is to identify your deepest motivations, get them on paper, and refer to them as you progress towards your goal.
